SIKE MARY (FERRARA) The opinionated Coraopolis Borough Councilwoman for over 25 years, passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2015, at Caring Heights, at age 95. She was born in Black Lick Township, Indiana County on March 2, 1920. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Sike; her son and daughter-in-law, William M. and Judith Sike; her daughter and son-in-law, Marilyn and Edward Meskow; and her siblings, Sam, Nellie, Tuna, Joe and Todd. She is survived by her loving grandchildren, Mark E. Sike (Michelle) of Robinson Township, Melissa Sike Johnson (Art) of Atlanta, GA, Melanie Taylor (Tim), and Christopher Meskow (Allison); and her great-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Mason, Shawn and Memphis. Mary, formerly of Sharpsville, spent most of her life in Coraopolis focused on local politics, was the founding member of C.O.G. (Council of Government) and both she and Bob Wagner were instrumental in getting the town clock along with Mayor Haberland. Everyone is invited to her Service in Mt.
