GORMLEY ARTHUR J. Of Pitcairn, formerly of Wilmerding, age 76, on Wednesday, September 12, 2018. Beloved husband of the late Joann (Montedoro) Gormley; loving father of John (Dena) Montedoro of Apollo and Mark Gormley of McKeesport; grandfather of Kasandra (fiancé, Neal) Montedoro; and greatgrandfather of Dakota; brother of Robert Gormley, Regis Gormley of Monroeville and Gladys Pawlik of Apollo. Art was preceded in death by his brothers, Russell, Donald and Kenneth Gormley. Art was a US Army veteran and a former steelworker with Rochez Bros., in Braddock. He retired from the maintenance department of East Allegheny School District and, in retirement, tended the bar at the Ukrainian Club in Wilmerding. Art was a passionate outdoors man and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Friends are welcome on Monday from 4-p.m., at PATRICK T. CLARKE CHARLOTTE E. On Thursday, September 13, 2018, Charlotte E. (Stitt), age 85, of Whitehall, passed away at Jefferson Hospital after a short illness. Beloved wife of the late William G. "Bill" Clarke for 58 years; mother of Denise (John) Chester, of Belleville, Bill (Shirley) Clarke, of Northville, MI, and Michael (Lisa) Clarke, of Castle Shannon; grandmother of Matthew and Jonathon Chester, and Grant, Gavin, Jude, Sidney, and Theodore Clarke; sister of Carl Stitt, William Stitt and the late Mabel Cunningham, Maxine Barr, Louise Miller and infant brother Earl Stitt; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Charlotte was a longtime and dedicated member of Baldwin United Presbyterian Church, participating in Bible study and as a deacon. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, "Mema." She was a woman of great faith and demonstrated that faith in her daily life. "... but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. SCHULTE WILLIAM DAVID September 12, 2018, William David Schulte, 67, went to be with the Lord. After a lengthy illness, Bill died peacefully, surrounded by his family. Born April 9, 1951, Bill is preceded in death by his father, William Schulte, mother, Rose Wrought (Schulte) Drummond, sister Christine Schulte and brother-in-law, Jerry Kalp. Bill graduated from Chartiers Valley High School and went on to graduate from Slippery Rock University. He worked for Mayview State Hospital for years. Before his illness, he was employed at Cygnus Manufacturing Co. Bill loved to hunt and fish, along with spending time with family and friends. He belonged to volleyball, bowling and softball leagues and was a great musician. Bill will be sadly missed by his son, Justin Schulte; sister Marlene Kalp; Brother Philip (Linda) Schulte; sister Kathleen (thomas) Swart; and many loving nieces and nephews. He was the beloved husband of 55 years to the love of his life Linda (Hill) Travisano; loving and devoted father to Joann (Joseph) Ruggiero, and Nancy; loving grandfather to Joseph (Megan), James and Jesse Ruggiero; and greatgrandfather to Annabelle Rose Ruggiero. Joe was preceded in death by his parents Antonio and Michelina Travisano and siblings, Christin, Nick and James. He is also survived by his siblings, Phelomena (late John) Palmieri, Peter (Constance), Paul (Suzanne) and Valverdina Travisano; brother-in-law of Mary Travisano and Nancy (late William); and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins. Joe was a dedicated family man with an everlasting love. Joe worked at the Equitable Gas Company and was a lifelong member of St. Jude the Apostle Church. Always with a deep love and caring for family and friends, he will truly be missed. BOVIENZO DOMINIC R. Dominic "Chick" 80, of Oakmont, passed away Friday, September 14, 2018 with his family by his side. Beloved husband of Cynthia (Zoller) Bovienzo of 50 years; dear father of Michael R. Bovienzo and Dawn (Richard) Bolton; brother of Rita (James) Jackson and the late Evelyn (late Jack) Kain; devoted pappy of Emily Bolton, Dominic J. Bovienzo, Andrew Bolton, and Christopher Bovienzo. Chick was of the Catholic faith. Throughout his career of food service manager Chick was employed at Alcoma Golf Club, Brackenridge and Hillcrest Country Clubs. He was an avid sports fan, playing football and baseball in high school and was involved with the local youth in Oakmont and Verona, coaching the OAA now the RAA. The family thanks the 4th floor staff of Presbyterian SeniorCare for their care and concern of Chick and to Heritage Hospice. GIANGARLO MARGARET J. It is with great sadness that the family of Marge Giangarlo announces her sudden passing on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at the age of 92. Marge was called home to be with her Lord and Savior. She was surrounded by her loving family. Born June 13, 1926 in Victoria, PA, she was the daughter of the late Mary and Elias Nassar of Clairton, PA. Marge will be forever remembered by her children, Sandi DeMaio Angelo of Jefferson Hills and Denise DeMaio Potter of Port Vue, PA; grandmother to Christopher (Amy) Angelo of Jefferson Hills and Amanda Potter of San Francisco; survived by her brother, Gabriel Nassar (Sharon); and sister-in-law, Fran Baldock. Also survived by a large extended family of nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Julio Giangarlo; grandson, Bryan Angelo; son-in-law, William Planich; sisters, Pauline (Geno) Tolari, Jean (Edward) Jamison, Evelyn (Johnny) Reoli, Rosemarie Nassar; brothers, Alex (Marie) Nassar, Mitchell (Betsy Jo) Nassar; sister-in-law to the late John Policastro, Attilio Policastro and Vincent Giangarlo. Marge was a woman of faith and a very active member of the St. George Orthodox Cathedral of Oakland, President of the Ladies Society, and a member of the order of St. Ignatius. She will long be remembered as a hard-working servant of God, putting her faith in God and her family first. She encouraged us to trust and leave all troubles in his hands. She was an excellent cook and loved family gatherings at her home.  Family members found love, laughter, food, and advice whenever they walked through her door.  She was the matriarch of the Nassar family. Her friends and neighbors always felt a warm welcome to her home and usually left with a care package of food and wisdom. May her memory be eternal as she joins our family of angels in the arms of our Lord. WITTMAN LOUIS L. Age 94, on Thursday, September 13, 2018, formerly of South Side. Beloved husband of the late Virginia Wittman; loving father of Louis L. (the late Dorothy) Wittman, Linda L. (Kenneth) Meehan, Susan M. (Charles) Gabriel and the late David L. (survived by Gina Pishinsky) Wittman; grandfather of Louis L. Wittman, III, Mellisa S. Puskaric, Jeffrey Meehan, Jennifer Gabriel, Jonathan Gabriel and David L. Wittman; great-grandfather of Jack and Faith Puskaric; brother of the late Joseph, Leonard and Dorothy Wittman. Lou was a proud Veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps, serving during WWII, and was proud of the fact he retired from Brinks as an armored truck driver after 35 years accident free.
